David Kollar: Between String & Signals

David Kollar’s chamber solo concert presents a personal journey through his musical world of recent years – from his latest work to compositions created in dialogue with prominent figures on the international music scene.

The repertoire is drawn primarily from the albums *Guitar Stories*, *Music from the Bag* and *Calls*, and is complemented by pieces from earlier projects such as Kollar/Cox/Truffaz/Raineri and *Behind the Frozen Window*.

In Kollar’s solo set, electric and acoustic guitar meet electronics, sampling and soundscapes. The result is an intimate, at times experimental concert straddling the boundaries of guitar music, ambient and cinematic soundscapes – a personal story told without words.
