Parking in Banská Štiavnica

Parking in Banská Štiavnica can be difficult, especially at weekends and during the main tourist season. The historic centre has narrow, hilly streets and very limited parking. We therefore recommend using one of the larger car parks, preferably P2 or P3, and walking to the centre.

Coach parking

Drop-off point by the Town Hall

Tourist coaches can drive into the town centre as far as the Town Hall, where there is a designated coach stop. Passengers can get off here. Address: Radničné námestie 4. Coaches cannot park at this stop. For parking, they must continue to the railway station or to the SAD bus depot (Slovenská autobusová doprava).

Long-term coach parking

The designated area for long-term coach parking is located near the railway station. The driver can return to the town centre by taxi. Coaches may also be parked at the SAD bus depot for the applicable fee.
