All Souls’ Day at Nový zámok

The Slovak Mining Museum invites you to spend an evening full of memories, history and music in the unique atmosphere of the New Castle, where an interesting programme and views of Banská Štiavnica at night await you. 📜 MAIN PROGRAMME FROM 5.00 pm 🕔 5.00 pm – Banská Štiavnica in the 16th century Historian Adriana Matejková will transport you back to the town’s ‘golden’ age and give you an insight into the period when Banská Štiavnica was one of Europe’s leading mining towns. 🎶 5.30 pm – Concert by HUAJA students Balladic compositions with elements of flamenco and jazz will create a pleasant musical atmosphere for the evening. 📜 6.00 pm – Pavol Rubigall and his legacy The story of a Banská Štiavnica ‘Waldbürger’ and his journey all the way to Constantinople, presented by Adriana Matejková, a historian at the Slovak Mining Museum. 🎶 18:30 – HUAJA Students’ Concert 🌃 17:00 – 22:00 – View of the town And the evening isn’t over yet! From the top floor of the New Castle, you can enjoy an unforgettable view of Banská Štiavnica at night, with its illuminated town centre and nearby cemeteries.
