MEDICINE ACCORDING TO HILDEGARD OF BINGEN Bylinková Apatieka is organising a full-day course entitled ‘Medicine According to St Hildegard’ on 31 October 2026 in Banská Štiavnica. I am delighted that Dr Veronika Piklerová has accepted the invitation to Bylinková Apatieka. St Hildegard of Bingen lived from 1098 to 1179. In Hildegard’s healing art, the causes of illnesses are treated, not just the symptoms. However, her medicine requires the active participation and faith of the person seeking to be healed. Even during her lifetime, she highlighted an unhealthy lifestyle, poor nutrition and even our way of thinking and living as factors that significantly influence our health, and she incorporated these into the healing process. The workshop is intended for: doctors and pharmacists, • herbalists and healers • and all enthusiasts interested in this topic.
